Fort William Inns and Bars (duplicate)
In the Highlands it is common for people to eat in the pubs and so many of our pubs and Inns provide a great variety of meals - many using local produce and local recipes. we hope you find the list below helpful and feel free to contact any of our advertisers directly. We recommend Cobbs Bar, located at the side of the Nevisport Shop in Fort William - they do a simple but good menu and serve locally brewed cask conditioned ale from Atlas Brewery, based in kinlochleven. A visit to Glen Nevis is a must and the Ben Nevis Inn at the foot of Ben Nevis where good food is served all day with a selection of Highland cask conditioned ales. Glen Nevis Restaurant bar sells local beers and great bar meals.
In Roy Bridge, The Stronlossit Inn provides a comfortable atmosphere for a nice evening out and Maurice, the proprietor is working hard to maintain a very high quality of cask beers and selected wines - the food from their kitchen is also very good. Out at Glunuig, the proprietors of The Glenuig Inn offer good food and great beers and the location is very pretty too. Near Glencoe, The Four Seasons Pub provide a big welcome, good cask beers and a nice variety of bar meals. Walkers will enjoy The Old Forge at Inverie - the most remote pub in the British Isles. Visitors can get there by ferry from Mallaig or you can over the hills to get a great pint and good food !
